Dr.Martens footwear was born in Northamptonshire, England, and today our UK teams still work with a bounce in their step, anchored in London and Northamptonshire, with retail and corporate roles across the region. This is where heritage meets modern craft: product, creative, sourcing, finance, tech and store teams all pulling together to keep the yellow welt stitching iconic and the experience unmistakably DM’s. We strongly believe in the importance of creating and supporting the next generation of shoemakers. Every year, we’re proud to open the doors to our famous Cobbs Lane factory to the successful applicants of our Apprenticeship Programme to learn the skills and processes involved in making our iconic footwear, all while earning a wage.
